Women and Men of the 1920's

It's the 1920's, the Roaring Twenties, the Jazz Age. It's the age of the "New Woman". But what does that really mean? And have men adapted to these modern women?  In The Great Gatsby you will have the opportunity to meet some of the men and women who are arguably archetypes of the 1920's. But first, you will need to find out what makes these guys and gals tick. Who are they? What do they like? What do they do? What do they wear?

'All right,' I said, 'I'm glad it's a girl. And I hope she'll be a fool—that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.'

Daisy Buchanan

Dishonesty in a woman is a thing you never blame deeply.
